There is just enough snow to be on snowshoes this Thursday, January 18, join in the fun!

Join us for a snowshoe hike through the Garden! Winter is a fun time to get outside and explore the adaptations of animals and plants in the colder weather. Just drop-in, no need to register beforehand.

No experience necessary, we’ll get you fitted and give an orientation. We have snowshoes to fit adults and youth, ages 6 and older. If snow is limited, we’ll go on a winter hike.

We are offering a hands-on Tamale making class for you to enjoy with family and friends. Tamales are synonymous with almost every holiday or fiesta in Mexico, especially at Christmas. Traditionally, families gather during the month of December before the Posadas, for tamale parties creating a Fiesta of assembling. Each Tamale is made special and is a gift waiting to be unwrapped.

Camp doesn’t only happen in summer – winter means snow fun! This winter, we’re celebrating winter and the Winter Olympics. Through both indoor and outdoor activities campers will experience winter sports, how people can keep warm in the cold, and challenge themselves with some Olympic games of our own.

Ages 6-10, Campers must bring a bag lunch, snack will be provided.

Straw bale gardening is a gardening method that can be done anywhere and can grow just about anything! Whether you are renting and don’t want to install a raised bed, struggle cultivating ground-level gardens, have poor soil or just want to try out a new technique, straw bale gardening could be for you. Attendees will have the chance to win a straw bale!

This is a slow class for every level of practitioner. Throughout this series, we will integrate mindfulness, breath work, strength and movement to find a perfect balanced yoga class.
