Enjoy the unique winter perspective of the Garden! Learn the basics of snowshoeing, explore the winter adaptations of the plants and search for tracks and signs of animals.
Dress in layers and be prepared for hiking outdoors for about 45 minutes. Distance of hike will range from ½ – 1 mile depending on abilities of the group. Program will be held as a hike if there isn’t enough snow for snowshoes.
Don’t delay! Register right away as classes may fill quickly. We also value our instructors’ time, so classes may risk being cancelled due to low early enrollment. Thank you!
After You Register
We will contact you the week of the program to confirm your enrollment. Please dress according to the weather for all outdoor programs. No rain or snow dates are planned. Classes open one half-hour before starting time.
