Our volunteers are truly the heart and soul of Green Bay Botanical Garden. They choose to donate their time here for many reasons. Over and over again we hear from our volunteers that they love getting outside in nature and really enjoy working with the others. We have volunteers of all ages and backgrounds, and each one brings a different skill set to the table. The one thing they have in common is a passion to share the Garden with the community and help others enjoy it as much as they do.
You don’t have to have a green thumb to volunteer! We have a wide variety of roles to fit your interests and skills:
The Garden is open to working with your group: young or old, corporate or personal, school or church organization. Together, we will work on creating a project that benefits both you and the Garden on the date and time allotted. Projects will vary depending on the season, but extra hands are always welcomed!

Your employer may call it by a different name, but essentially this program is a corporate employee and retiree giving program where your employer provides a financial donation to the Garden when you volunteer with us on a regular basis.
To find out if your company has a Dollars for Doers Grant Program, contact your program administrator or human resources department and consider submitting a request on behalf of the Garden.
