Camp GBBG is a summer camp for kids filled with nature-themed games, crafts and unforgettable adventures.

The Garden is excited to offer one day, two day and weeklong camps this summer.  These fun, outdoor camps offer kids a wide variety of activities that utilize the unique landscapes at the Garden in Green Bay. Be ready dig into the dirt and connect with the wonders of the natural world.

Outdoor Adventures

Get ready to search for hidden treasures, solve mysteries and develop your outdoor skills! Learn more about adventure sports like letterboxing, geocaching, and backpacking with daily activities, games and crafts. At the end of the week, test your skills during an exciting Adventure Race.

NEW! Music and Nature in Harmony

“Come to My Garden” and explore music centered around nature and beauty. Learn to understand your individual voice, how your sound is created, ways to keep your voice healthy and the role of one voice in a choir of many. Take inspiration from the Garden as you sing songs that reflect harmony in nature. Lessons will build on each other daily with a final performance at the Sanimax Concert on August 15 at 6 pm, opening for John Kelley and the Fusion Express Orchestra. Prior vocal experience in choir or other preferred.

Butterfly Biologist

Become a butterfly biologist at Green Bay Botanical Garden as you collect and identify caterpillars and butterflies, discover which plants they love and learn how to attract them at home. We’ll also work on a special project for our summer exhibit, Butterflies & Blooms!

Story Book Adventure: The Lorax

Bring the adventures of Dr. Seuss’s book The Lorax to life! You’ll explore the story through games and projects while learning about the effects of pollution and the importance of trees. Then, plant a Dr. Seuss inspired garden to take home!

NEW! KIDchen Camp

Calling Future Foodies! Join Bridgett Lowery of 416 Cuisine for a hands-on kitchen experience. Learn kitchen safety, table etiquette, food safety, knife skills and the importance of a balanced diet. Experience the Garden and cook with fresh produce, when available. Recipes will include healthy hearty food and one sweet treat. Children will receive a folder of the recipes and printed materials and will keep the apron they decorate in class. Naturally, lunch and a snack will be enjoyed (after they make it!) each day. Class is appropriate for children 9 and up, with one and two-day class options available.
