EXPLORE EVEN MORE WITH PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES
Beyond interacting with butterflies, our weekly family programs, including Family Nature Hikes, Story Times and Discovery Stations, will highlight butterflies and other pollinators, in addition to self-guided daily drop-in activities and other featured programs or events.
Daily Drop-In Activities
Garden Discovery Boxes | 10 am–12 pm
Boxes placed throughout the Garden containing games and activities for kids.
Butterfly Feedings | 1–3 pm
Receive a feeding stick dipped with a tasty butterfly treat. Donations accepted.
Children’s Corner | Anytime
Make butterfly-themed crafts or participate in a new activity each week in the lower level of the Fischer Visitor Center.
Scavenger Hunts | Anytime
Hunt for clues and discovers plants and animals in the Garden.
S.E.E.D. Packs | Anytime
Search, Explore, Experience and Discover the Garden! Packs include short lessons, games and observation activities.

Butterfly Biologist
For ages 6-12! Become a butterfly biologist at Green Bay Botanical Garden as you collect and identify caterpillars and butterflies, discover which plants they love and learn how to attract them at home. We’ll also work on a special project for our summer exhibit, Butterflies & Blooms!

Camp DetailsButterfly Birthday Packages
Book a birthday extravaganza at the Garden this summer and your guests can experience our newest exhibit, Butterflies & Blooms, which features hundreds of live butterflies native to Wisconsin! With this birthday package, you’ll get admission for up to 30 guests, a 4-hour room rental, a variety of self-guided butterfly activities and more. Parties must be held between 10 am-5 pm.
