Nature Connects®: Art with LEGO® Bricks @ Green Bay Botanical Garden

Green Bay Botanical Garden is the first and only venue in Wisconsin to host Nature Connects!

As you view the sculptures, take a look at their surroundings. Each is positioned in an area around the Garden that best represents their natural environment.

LEGO® Minifigures Movies @ Green Bay Botanical Garden

Your creative child will love learning about story boarding and making movies with stop motion video techniques. Bring in your own LEGO block creations and minifigures, and we will turn them in to funny, action packed movies right before your eyes. If you have an iPad, download the LEGO Animation app and use your own device, or we will have iPad’s for children to use as well.

Don’t delay! Register right away as classes may fill quickly. We also value our instructors’ time, so classes may risk being cancelled due to low early enrollment. Thank you!

We will contact you the week of the program to confirm your enrollment. Please dress according to the weather for all outdoor programs. No rain or snow dates are planned. Classes open one half-hour before starting time.

Cancellations & Refunds

Classes cancelled due to low enrollment or hazardous weather conditions are refunded automatically. You will be notified by phone if a program is cancelled. In cases of inclement weather, call 920.491.3691 ext. 122 to check the status of the program. If you must cancel your registration for a program, your registration fees will be refunded if notice is received at least five days prior to the program. Green Bay Botanical Garden cannot refund fees requested on or after the start date of a program or for sessions missed due to student illness or other personal situations.

Cancelled: Garden Sprouts: Pollination Play @ Green Bay Botanical Garden
Cost: $8/GBBG Member; $13/Non-Member

Flowers and bees just go together!  Become a scientist and investigate pollination with us. This program is designed for children age three to five and one accompanying adult. Price includes one child and adult.  Additional children are half price.

Nature Connects® Segway Tours @ Green Bay Botanical Garden
Cost: $55/person

From the two wheels of the Segway you will experience the larger than life Nature Connects® sculptures from a different angle.

Join Segway the Fox Tours as we cruise around our magnificent gardens, learning about the Garden history, notable plants, specialty gardens and view many of the Nature Connects sculptures. No experience necessary, the tour will start with a training on how to use the Segway.

Tours are available at 10:00-11:00 am or 10:30-11:30 am and are limited to 9 people per tour.

Riders must be at least 11 years old. There are no weight restrictions or balance requirements. To learn more about Segway the Fox tours, visit GlideNEW.com.

Creative Construction

Calling all architects, designers and builders! Discover some of nature’s master builders, then use your creativity on new projects and build challenges each day. We’ll work with a variety of materials and tools while learning to think like engineers.

$65/GBBG Member; $85/Non-Member

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made up to 2 weeks prior to the start of camp.  A $10 administrative fee is charged for all cancellations, the remainder will be refunded to you.  No cancellations or refunds are available with less than two weeks notice.  If camper must cancel for medical reasons, full refunds are provided.  To cancel, please call 491-3691 ext. 107.

Express Garden Tour @ Green Bay Botanical Garden

Enhance your next visit with a guided tour through Green Bay Botanical Garden!  Stop by on Mondays at 10 am for an hour-long Express Garden Tour. Trained guides will share stories about the Garden and its special features. You will be guided through our upper gardens, including the Larsen Remnant Orchard, Schierl Wellhouse & Garden, Kress Oval Garden, Vanderperren English Cottage Garden, Lux Foundation Upper Rose Garden and more. Visit the Nature Connects Sculptures along the way (included through August 13).

Tours are on a first come, first served basis, up to 20 people. Free with Garden Admission.
