Bridget Austin, Professional Watercolor Artist

Watercolor adventures with leaves and trees! This is a two-day class, August 26 and 27 and is limited to 18 participants. Attendees are able to leave their supplies at the Garden overnight.

Enjoy two days of tips for painting trees and foliage in all seasons! Learn to simplify, develop helpful brushstrokes, surprise yourself with daring color choices, and create depth through negative painting and layering. Subjects will range from leaf studies to forests. Painters with at least some experience will find this most helpful. Use your own supplies or check the supply list. Feel free to bring references of interest but you will also be provided with photos, study sheets and the garden as inspiration.

Lunch is not provided, please bring lunch along or order in to the Garden.

This class is aimed toward students with some watercolor experience.
