Find a new way to explore the outdoors this winter! Learn the basics of snowshoeing, explore ways that plants survive the cold and search for tracks and signs of animals. Dress in layers and be prepared to be outdoors for about 1 hour. Snowshoes are sized for ages 6 and up. Program will be held as a hike if there isn’t enough snow for snowshoes.

Homemade kefir is LOADED with more probiotics than any other food.
This is a great starter course to build the foundation needed to make kefir and other fermented food and drinks with ease
**Kefir can be made with other types of milk, not just dairy
Class includes a step-by-step demonstration on how to make kefir. The presentation will discuss how kefir benefits health and why. There will be ample time for student Q & A. Each student will take home directions, recipe ideas, a starter kit and have access to continued support as needed.
There will be a kefir tasting including delicious dips and smoothies!

Ken Sikora, 25+ years of Beekeeping Experience
Wanted: New Beekeepers! Pollinators are in short supply and you’re needed to support them! Ken Sikora, who has more than 25 years of beekeeping experience, will share what clothing and equipment you need, the costs of beekeeping, where to get bees, determining good location for a hive, what mentoring help is available and more. You’ll also learn the answers to a variety of bee questions including why the drones (male bees) have grandparents, but not a father and how honeybees and human beings are the only two species in which members can tell one another the location of important food sources.
