St. Patrick’s Tea, on the Wilde Side *3 Spots Left* @ Green Bay Botanical Garden
Cost: $18/GBBG Member; $22/Non-Member
Mar 19 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Find the Leprechauns like this in our Leprechaun Hunt!

Northeast Wisconsin Unit of the Herb Society of America

Join us for a traditional “afternoon” tea celebrating many things Irish, from Celtic myth to the legendary wit of Oscar Wilde.  We’ll imbibe things green, from green tea to Carrageen Moss jelly. We’ll learn about leprechauns and little people. As always, conversation over the teacups is accompanied by scones, savories, and sweets, enhanced by select teas.  “Bread and butter, or cake, milady?”

This tea will have 2 special features!

  • We’ll savor a short reader’s theater offering of one or two scenes from The Importance of Being Earnest, (subtitled “A Trivial Comedy for Serious People), a delightful mock of manners from that most Irish of raconteurs, Oscar Wilde.
  • In the true tradition of Carlingford Mountain Ireland, we will be having Wisconsin’s 1st Annual Leprechaun Hunt.  Find your own leprechaun to cheer your home!

Don’t delay! Register right away as classes may fill quickly. We also value our instructors’ time, so classes may risk being cancelled due to low early enrollment. Thank you!
