All Garden events, classes and programs throughout the rest of March and April have been canceled. See updates below.
This class is full. To be added to the waiting list, please contact our Guest Services staff at 920.490.9457.
Bridget Austin, Professional Watercolor Artist
This is a two-day class, August 17 and 18. Attendees are able to leave their supplies at the Garden overnight.
Enjoy splashing on summer colors to depict the Garden in its glory! The first day will be painting flowers up close with emphasis on lively color and brushwork. The second day will be devoted to showcasing a garden landscape by doing a value study to simplify the composition and techniques for layering and negative painting.
Some watercolor experience is best for this class. Be inspired by provided images, your own photos, or the Garden itself!
Lunch is not provided, please bring lunch along or order in to the Garden.
*Since Bridget’s classes are so popular, please consider only registering for one of her classes so that more guests can experience her instruction.
