Bobbie Webster, UWGB Natural Areas Ecologist
As we focus on habitats this summer, join Bobbie Webster, UW-Green Bay Natural Areas Ecologist, on a tour of the restoration of a 75 acre natural area around Wequiock Creek. Located just upstream of estuarine wetlands at the Point au Sable natural area, you’ll learn about the ecological and cultural significance of the Wequiock Creek Natural Area. View recently created wetland scrapes, newly installed pollinator plantings, and current woody invasive removal. Participants will be walking on some mowed field, long grass and mud; terrain can be uneven and steep.
