Add a little activity to your day by visiting our Garden Discovery Boxes! Located throughout the Garden, these boxes contain games, activities and movement ideas to keep little ones entertained during your visit.

Butterfly Feeding | 1–3 pm

Get up close and personal with the winged beauties of our Butterflies & Blooms exhibit.  Once in the butterfly house, visitors can receive a feeding stick dipped into a sweet and tasty butterfly treat.  Will a butterfly visit you for a snack?

Donations accepted in the butterfly house.

Scavenger Hunts | Anytime

Hunt for clues and discover plants and animals in the Garden.

S.E.E.D. Packs | Anytime

Search, Explore, Experience and Discover the Garden! Packs include short lessons, games and observation activities.

FULL: Watercolor: Into the Woods @ Green Bay Botanical Garden
Cost: $110/GBBG Member; $128/Non-Member

Bridget Austin, Professional Watercolor Artist

Watercolor adventures with leaves and trees! This is a two-day class, August 26 and 27 and is limited to 18 participants. Attendees are able to leave their supplies at the Garden overnight.

Enjoy two days of tips for painting trees and foliage in all seasons! Learn to simplify, develop helpful brushstrokes, surprise yourself with daring color choices, and create depth through negative painting and layering. Subjects will range from leaf studies to forests. Painters with at least some experience will find this most helpful. Use your own supplies or check the supply list. Feel free to bring references of interest but you will also be provided with photos, study sheets and the garden as inspiration.

Lunch is not provided, please bring lunch along or order in to the Garden.

This class is aimed toward students with some watercolor experience.

We will contact you the week of the program to confirm your enrollment. Please dress according to the weather for all outdoor programs. No rain or snow dates are planned. Classes open one half-hour before starting time.

Cancellations & Refunds

Classes cancelled due to low enrollment or hazardous weather conditions are refunded automatically. You will be notified by phone if a program is cancelled. In cases of inclement weather, call 920.491.3691 ext. 122 to check the status of the program. If you must cancel your registration for a program, your registration fees will be refunded if notice is received at least five days prior to the program. Green Bay Botanical Garden cannot refund fees requested on or after the start date of a program or for sessions missed due to student illness or other personal situations.
