Topics discussed include plants for different light levels, common mistakes people encounter with houseplants, the best varieties for all areas of the home, pet safe plants, and the hottest house plant trends. We’ll even include a section on using houseplants outdoors in your garden.

Come join us as we upgrade two old-time methods of preserving the harvest to include some new materials, methods, and safety precautions.

You will learn how to store and preserve vegetables in ways that maintain and even improve quality and nutrient availability. You will make a jar of fermented vegetable product while exploring methods for root cellaring – live vegetable storage – that you can do on a small scale at home.

This unique and visual program will highlight many of the best hydrangea varieties for growing in Wisconsin and offer a time-lapse of the color changes of each variety throughout the growing season, from midsummer until late fall.
