Spring’s splendor will take your breath away with more than 300,000 blooms!
As you step out of your vehicle, the tulip blend Fleurnace™ will show off a blend of oranges and yellows that looks like a furnace on fire. Outside the Fischer Visitor Center, you’ll be greeted soft yellows and whites of the Lemony Remedy™ tulip blend.
This year, a variety of bulb mixes are planted around the Garden. As you step out onto the Agnes Schneider Terrace, the unique color combination found in Caddy (Fifth Blend) shows up as a maroon and peach double tulip with an underplanting of grape hyacinth. Punch Bowl™ hyacinth mix provides a splash of color by the Kaftan Lusthaus that is not only beautiful, but also fragrant.
Bouquet Beaucoup™, which is planted by the Concessions Building in the Schneider Family Grand Garden, makes us think about Mardi Gras, so come out for this spring party!
Our collection of over 100 magnolias also blooms around the same time as our spring bulb display, so there will be blossoms in the sky as well as on the ground – they bloom around the first two weeks of May. Our thousands of spring flowering perennials, shrubs, and other trees will be at the party as well. Spring is truly a glorious time to visit your botanical garden!
We’re also bringing these stunning views to you! Stay tuned to Facebook, Instagram and our website for the latest scenes of spring.
Mother Nature permitting, flowers bloom throughout May. Peak bloom is anticipated mid-May through the end of the month.
