With today’s high temps and predicted rain, the remaining dates of Polar Pollinator Pop-Up have been canceled.
Don’t wait for summer to be inspired by the unique habitats of northeast Wisconsin. This February, toss on your warm clothes, lace up your boots, and wander the Garden to gaze at habitat–themed snow sculptures. A handful of talented snow carvers from around Wisconsin will descend on the Garden in mid February to create magnificent sculptures depicting the critical need for varied habitats, how interconnected and fragile they are, and what we can do to protect them.
Beyond the sculptures, enjoy Discovery Stations and uncover unique winter wonders with a scavenger hunt. Guests will also be able to take home a free craft kit (while supplies last).
Mother Nature will determine the best dates, so watch for updates on this pop–up event. Reservations are not required, but consider purchasing admission in advance, to be used at any time.

This class will be a memorable and enjoyable look at some of the hottest gardening trends that are all throwbacks to gardens of the past.
From vintage and repurposed garden art to heirloom plants and retro style growing methods, this class will cover it all and be a celebration of gardens of the past, and a fun way to grow forward. Some of the hottest plants, both indoors and out, right now, are those that were popular back in the 60s and 70s. We’ll cover them all.
