Betty Pearson, Former Garden Staff
Looking for a way to refresh your writing skills? Through the inspiration of our garden tableaus, you will become engaged in creating prose and poetry that you never knew you could create. Learn how to let your senses and talents paint word pictures that have been waiting to be written only through your creativity.
This four-session class will meet weekly for two hours, Wednesdays, September 9, 16, 23 & 30.
The instructor will choose venues throughout the Garden and you will write on a personal electronic device or paper. Each class will include skill review and instruction, as well as personal writing time. The instructor will meet individually with each student during that time to encourage ideas and answer questions.
Betty Pearson, a former Garden employee, is a freelance writer and a memoir writing instructor for Fox Valley Technical College. Her articles have been published in local newspapers, professional trade association journals, Voyageur and Our Wisconsin.
