Add a little activity to your day by visiting our Garden Discovery Boxes! Located throughout the Garden, these boxes contain games, activities and movement ideas to keep little ones entertained during your visit.

Butterfly Feeding | 1–3 pm

Get up close and personal with the winged beauties of our Butterflies & Blooms exhibit.  Once in the butterfly house, visitors can receive a feeding stick dipped into a sweet and tasty butterfly treat.  Will a butterfly visit you for a snack?

Donations accepted in the butterfly house.

Scavenger Hunts | Anytime

Hunt for clues and discover plants and animals in the Garden.

S.E.E.D. Packs | Anytime

Search, Explore, Experience and Discover the Garden! Packs include short lessons, games and observation activities.

Music & Nature in Harmony

“Come to My Garden” and explore music centered around nature and beauty. Learn to understand your individual voice, how your sound is created, ways to keep your voice healthy and the role of one voice in a choir of many. Take inspiration from the Garden as you sing songs that reflect harmony in nature. Lessons will build on each other daily with a final performance at the Sanimax Concert on August 15 at 6 pm, opening for John Kelley and the Fusion Express Orchestra. Prior vocal experience in choir or other preferred.

Story Book Adventure: The Lorax

Bring the adventures of Dr. Seuss’s book The Lorax to life! You’ll explore the story through games and projects while learning about the effects of pollution and the importance of trees. Then, plant a Dr. Seuss inspired garden to take home!

Farmory Tour @ The Farmory

farmory logoThe Farmory is a campaign to bring local, sustainable, and indoor agriculture to Green Bay and the larger northeast Wisconsin region. By converting an empty former armory building into a 20,000 square foot indoor vertical aquaponics farm, this non-profit will offer fresh fish and produce year-round, and provide area residents with educational resources on sustainability and self-sufficiency. Come discover how they are transforming the food landscape in Green Bay and see the in-progress transformation of the former armory building.

This tour takes place off-site at the Farmory, 437 S. Jackson St, Green Bay, WI 54301. Please wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes for the tour.

Don’t delay! Register right away as classes may fill quickly. We also value our instructors’ time, so classes may risk being canceled due to low early enrollment. Thank you!

After You Register

We will contact you the week of the program to confirm your enrollment. Please dress according to the weather for all outdoor programs. No rain or snow dates are planned. Classes open one half-hour before starting time.

Cancelations & Refunds

Classes canceled due to low enrollment or hazardous weather conditions are refunded automatically. You will be notified by phone if a program is canceled. In cases of inclement weather, call 920.491.3691 ext. 122 to check the status of the program. If you must cancel your registration for a program, your registration fees will be refunded if notice is received at least five days prior to the program. Green Bay Botanical Garden cannot refund fees requested on or after the start date of a program or for sessions missed due to student illness or other personal situations.

Due to the rainy forecast predicted on Wednesday, September 11, our final Weed & Feed of 2019 is canceled.

Help us keep the Garden looking its best as we welcome thousands of visitors! Work side-by-side with Garden staff and then enjoy a delicious meal provided by the Garden.
