A handful of talented snow carvers from around Wisconsin will descend on the Garden in late February to create magnificent sculptures depicting pollination players, including butterflies, bees and flowers, spread throughout the Garden. Beyond the sculptures, uncover unique winter wonders with a scavenger hunt and you can register to win a prize package! Guests will also be able to take home a free craft kit.

Garden Education Staff
Find a new way to explore the outdoors this winter! Learn the basics of snowshoeing, explore ways that plants survive the cold and search for tracks and signs of animals. Dress in layers and be prepared to be outdoors for about 1 hour. Snowshoes are sized for ages 6 and up. Program will be held as a hike if there isn’t enough snow for snowshoes.

Cancelations & Refunds
Classes canceled due to COVID-19, low enrollment or hazardous weather conditions are refunded automatically. You will be notified by phone if a program is canceled. In cases of inclement weather, call 920.491.3691 ext. 122 to check the status of the program. If you must cancel your registration for a program, your registration fees will be refunded if notice is received at least five days prior to the program. Green Bay Botanical Garden cannot refund fees requested on or after the start date of a program or for sessions missed due to student illness or other personal situations.

Mondays, February 8, 15 & 22 | 9:30-11 am
This nature day camp is specially designed for 3-5 year olds along with their adult buddy. Loaded with nature themed stories, crafts, hikes and hands-on exploration, dress to journey outside and go on a new adventure every day!
Full Series: $35/Garden Member; $40/General Public
One Day: $15

Cancelation Policy
Cancelations can be made up to 2 weeks prior to the start of camp. A $10 administrative fee is charged for all cancellations, the remainder will be refunded to you. No cancelations or refunds are available with less than two weeks notice. If camper must cancel for medical reasons, such as COVID-19, full refunds are provided. Tree Janzen, Tree’s Yoga
This is a slow class for all ability levels. We’ll integrate mindfulness, breath work, strength and movement to find a perfectly balanced yoga class. Bring your own yoga mat.

Ken Sikora, 25+ years of Beekeeping Experience
Wanted: New Beekeepers! Pollinators are in short supply and you’re needed to support them! Ken Sikora, who has more than 25 years of beekeeping experience, will share what clothing and equipment you need, the costs of beekeeping, where to get bees, determining good location for a hive, what mentoring help is available and more. You’ll also learn the answers to a variety of bee questions including why the drones (male bees) have grandparents, but not a father and how honeybees and human beings are the only two species in which members can tell one another the location of important food sources.
