GBBG Education Staff

Find a new way to explore the outdoors this winter! Learn the basics of snowshoeing, explore ways that plants survive the cold and search for tracks and signs of animals. Dress in layers and be prepared to be outdoors for about 1 hour. Snowshoes are sized for ages 6 and up. Program will be held as a hike if there isn’t enough snow for snowshoes.

Don’t delay! Register right away as classes may fill quickly. We also value our instructors’ time, so classes may risk being canceled due to low early enrollment. Thank you!

After You Register

We will contact you the week of the program to confirm your enrollment. Please dress according to the weather for all outdoor programs. No rain or snow dates are planned. Classes open one half-hour before starting time.

Cancelations & Refunds

Classes canceled due to low enrollment or hazardous weather conditions are refunded automatically. You will be notified by phone if a program is canceled. In cases of inclement weather, call 920.491.3691 ext. 122 to check the status of the program. If you must cancel your registration for a program, your registration fees will be refunded if notice is received at least five days prior to the program. Green Bay Botanical Garden cannot refund fees requested on or after the start date of a program or for sessions missed due to student illness or other personal situations.

The health and safety of our guests, volunteers and staff is our highest priority. We are closely monitoring and evaluating the situation around Coronavirus (COVID-19), including guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, to ensure we are taking the necessary measures to protect your health and well-being. In keeping with CDC guidelines on social distancing and out of concern for our community, all Garden events, classes and programs throughout the rest of March have been canceled. If you are signed up for any Garden programs scheduled from March 13-31, program fees will be automatically refunded no later than April 2.
