Learn the basics of snowshoeing, explore ways that plants survive the cold and search for tracks and signs of animals. Dress in layers and be prepared to be outdoors for about 1 hour. Snowshoes are sized for ages 6 and up. Program will be held as a hike if there isn’t enough snow for snowshoes.

Don’t delay! Register right away as classes may fill quickly. We also value our instructors’ time, so classes may risk being canceled due to low early enrollment. Thank you!

We will contact you the week of the program to confirm your enrollment. Please dress according to the weather for all outdoor programs. No rain or snow dates are planned. Classes open one half-hour before starting time.

Cancelations & Refunds

Classes canceled due to low enrollment or hazardous weather conditions are refunded automatically. You will be notified by phone if a program is canceled. In cases of inclement weather, call 920.491.3691 ext. 122 to check the status of the program. If you must cancel your registration for a program, your registration fees will be refunded if notice is received at least five days prior to the program. We are closely monitoring and evaluating the situation around Coronavirus (COVID-19), including guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, to ensure we are taking the necessary measures to protect your health and well-being. In keeping with CDC guidelines on social distancing and out of concern for our community, all Garden events, classes and programs throughout the rest of March have been canceled.

This exhibit will feature fiber arts, embroidery work, demonstrations throughout both days and Make & Takes presented in partnership with Women Who Run With Scissors and Green Bay Area Embroiderers’ Guild of America.

The Ikenobo Ikebana Society, those who practice the Japanese art of flower arrangement, is no longer participating. Demonstrations scheduled for 11 am and 1 pm each day have been canceled.

The entire Garden (buildings and grounds) is temporarily closed from Wednesday, March 25 through 9 am on Friday, April 24 in accordance with Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers’ Safer at Home order. If you have questions, call us at 920.490.9457, email info@gbbg.org or message us on Facebook. We’ll be monitoring these channels on weekdays.

All Garden events, classes and programs throughout the rest of March and April have been canceled. If you are signed up for any Garden programs scheduled for April or March, program fees will be automatically refunded no later than April 10.
