FULL: Snowshoe Hike @ Green Bay Botanical Garden

This class is full. Snowshoes are available for use during Garden open hours, Monday – Saturday, 9 am-5 pm, included with general admission, as long as snow conditions are appropriate. 

GBBG Education Staff

Find a new way to explore the outdoors this winter! Learn the basics of snowshoeing, explore ways that plants survive the cold and search for tracks and signs of animals. Dress in layers and be prepared to be outdoors for about 1 hour. Snowshoes are sized for ages 6 and up. Program will be held as a hike if there isn’t enough snow for snowshoes.

How are those New Year Resolutions coming along? What resolutions you ask?? Come reignite the VISION of your future! We will sip some wine, nibble on cheese while creating a visual masterpiece that will inspire YOU to create the life of your DREAMS! Not an artist? No worries! Your vision only needs your Dreams and Inspired Action! You are encouraged to bring images, words and phrases you may want to include on your Masterpiece!

Participants will create a canvas painting with acrylic paints. The instructor will provide prompts and inspiration to ignite your imagination, but each participant will create a personalized masterpiece to perfectly inspire your vision.

About the Instructor

Linda Losey has a background as an art therapist in health care settings, a school music teacher, a preschool owner and a Religious Science ordained minister and spiritual practitioner. Linda offers a variety of workshops at 9th Street Wellness Center exploring creativity in many forms including art, journaling, music and movement. She shares this awareness joyfully with those who wish to discover their true essence. Linda loves to meet people, dance, go on nature walks, meditate, read, sing, travel, paint, write music and poetry, and spend time with family and friends.

See over 20 gardens in all.
