Be introduced to the amazing world of the honeybee and the importance of pollination! We’ll show you how 10,000-60,000 bees, each having their own critical role in the hive, work together as one superorganism while caring for the survival of the colony. We will also touch on the importance of habitat diversity such as wildflowers, trees, garden plantings and roadside landscape. Lastly, experience a thriving hive, up close and personal. You’ll be enclosed in a screened in tent while we bring honeybees working on their honey frames up close for you to see.
