For your safety and the safety of our instructors and staff, class sizes are limited and physical distancing and other precautions will be taken during all educational programs.

Face coverings are required in all Garden buildings (ages 2 and up) and during outdoor programs when visitors are gathered in groups.

Rebecca Kuick, Cultured Foods 101

Homemade kefir is LOADED with more probiotics than any other food.

  • Keeps your immune system strong!
  • Easy – only TWO ingredients
  • Inexpensive

This is a great starter course to build the foundation needed to make kefir and other fermented food and drinks with ease

**Kefir can be made with other types of milk, not just dairy

Class includes a step-by-step demonstration on how to make kefir. The presentation will discuss how kefir benefits health and why. There will be ample time for student Q & A. Each student will take home directions, recipe ideas, a starter kit and have access to continued support as needed.

There will be a kefir tasting including delicious dips and smoothies!
