Val Dantoin, NWTC Sustainable Ag EducatorBackyardChickens

Are backyard chickens legal in Brown County? Which breed is best to start with? Do I start with chicks or full-grown hens? Join Val Dantoin, NWTC Sustainable Ag Educator, and explore all of the ins and outs, discover local ordinances and everything you need to know to get started raising your own chickens and collecting your own “farm fresh” eggs. Val will also discuss housing and outdoor pens, feed and water, sunlight and shade and common chicken problems.

Don’t delay! Register right away as classes may fill quickly. We also value our instructors’ time, so classes may risk being cancelled due to low early enrollment. Thank you!

After You Register
