Dale Bartel, GBBG Member & Volunteer

Travel back to Pomerania with our host by tracing his genealogy and learn about his family’s heritage in this region. Pomerania, Slavic for “along the sea”, is an area of northern Germany and Poland reaching the Baltic Sea. It was a Prussian province from 1701 to 1947 and was absorbed into Germany and Poland following WWII.
