There are  a variety of different herbs that can be grown and harvested to use as your very own DIY  spa treatment in the comfort of your own home. These herbs are used for their simplicity and versatility– from face masks and foot soaks, to hair rinses. 

Benefits of Spa Herbs

Each spa herb has its own benefit but can be mixed with other herbs as desired. Spa herbs are commonly used for their relaxing, invigorating, and energizing properties. When combined with the right ingredients, they can also be good for moisturizing your hair and skin.

Grow Spa Herbs Indoors

As winter approaches, or if you live in an apartment with no garden space, here are some tips for growing spa herbs indoors:

  1. Give plants plenty of sunlight with direct or supplemental light
  2. Don’t over-water plants as it could invite plant diseases
  3. Don’t let plants dry out

And if you don’t want to try your hand at growing your herbs indoors, you can always dry them out for use during the winter. They might not be as potent but they will still do the trick!
