Thank you for a wonderful summer music season. Sanimax Concerts will return next June.

Relax on Thursday evenings in the Schneider Family Grand Garden with this annual music series that thrills music lovers across all genres and all generations. Stroll through the Garden, enjoy live music from local musicians, wine, beer and dining. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, lawn chairs, blankets and their dancing shoes! No concert on July 4.

Sanimax Concerts will be moved into the Schneider Education Center if there is inclement weather.

4:30–6:30 pm | Seeds to Snacks

Dig into hands-on gardening activities and investigations, then create a fresh garden snack to enjoy from our harvest each week in the Partnership Gardens, watch for signs. Weather permitting. No program July 4.

5–7:45 pm | Picnic in the Garden

Feel free to bring in your own picnic. The Garden will feature a small concessions area with popcorn and beverages. Bar stations will offer local brews and botanically inspired cocktails.

A variety of sandwiches, salads, snacks and desserts will be available for purchase from Not By Bread Alone. La Java will be serving coffee, lattes, fresh lemonade and iced tea. Families and friends can enjoy drop-in activity stations and lawn games in the Schneider Family Grand Garden. No beverage carry-ins allowed.

  • There are no refunds on any Garden special event tickets.
  • Tickets will not be replaced if lost, stolen or unused.
  • Advance purchase highly recommended (when applicable).
  • Tickets are not refunded for any inclement weather including but not limited to snow, wind, rain, thunderstorm, mud, cold or extreme temperatures.
  • Refunds will not be given for dissatisfaction with any event, as opinions are subjective.
  • Event ticket purchases are non-transferable to another event, Garden membership or Garden education class.

Concert Admission

Concert admission goes on sale at 4 pm night of the concert. No advance ticket sales for the Sanimax Concert Series.

Seating

Are seats reserved? How do I find a seat?

All seating is general admission, first-come, first-served lawn seating and Cowles Terrace seating (hard paver surface). Lawn chairs and blankets are welcomed. Guests can start setting up chairs beginning at 4 pm

What is the Sponsored Seating area?

The Sponsored Seating section is a special area on the Cowles Terrace in front of the Billie Kress Amphitheater for Sanimax Concert Series sponsors. Food & Drink

May I bring in my own food and/or will food be available for purchase at concerts?

Feel free to bring in a picnic basket with food from home to enjoy during a concert – anything from cheese and crackers to pizza is allowed. No beverage carrys-in. There are drinking fountains inside the Garden to fill refillable bottles.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. The Garden will be serving wine, beer, specialty alcoholic drinks, soda, water, ice cream treats, chips and popcorn. A variety of sandwiches, concert snacks and desserts will be available for purchase from Not By Bread Alone on the Mabel Thome Patio. La Java will be serving coffee, lattes, fresh lemonade and ice tea on the Mabel Thome Patio.

Picnic baskets, bags and purses may be subject to security searches. If prohibited items are found, customers will be asked to store items in their locked vehicle or dispose of them.

What kind of beverages can I bring into the Amphitheater?

No beverage carry-ins. There are drinking fountains inside the Garden to fill refillable bottles.

Beer, wine, specialty alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic beverages are available at our concessions building. All guests consuming alcohol will have IDs checked at the concession stand for service.

Alcohol may not be brought on the premises. Our liquor license does not permit any outside alcohol to be brought onto the property. If prohibited items are found customers will be asked to store items in their locked vehicle or dispose of them.

Concert Guidelines, Parking & Weather

What happens in cases of rain or threat of severe weather?

A decision is made at 10 am on the date of the concert if it will be moved indoors to the Cornerstone Foundation Hall located in the Schneider Education Center. Chairs will be provided for guests if the concert is moved indoors. To find out if a Concert has been moved indoors please go to our website, Facebook page or call us at 920.490.9457.

Is the Billie Kress Amphitheater accessible? Where is the barrier-free ADA section?

It is our intent to make every concert experience accessible to every guest. Green Bay Botanical Garden is an accessible facility and proudly complies with ADA regulations.

Barrier-free and ADA areas are in the Fischer Overlook Arbor. View a map of the barrier-free ADA seating locations. Guests wishing to sit in one of these areas may be accompanied by a companion (or more if room is available). Guests in wheelchairs have priority—a very limited number of wheelchairs are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Parking Staff will direct concertgoers with vehicles displaying an ADA license plate or placard to the ADA parking areas (18 available spots). Guests with accessibility needs can also be dropped off close to the Garden’s entrance by pulling into the circle driveway. A golf cart will be available for transport for those needing assistance to and from the parking lots. Golf cart transport will also be available immediately following the end of the concerts.

What time do the doors open?

The Garden’s admission area will open at 4 pm to check in members and guests interested in purchasing day-of concert tickets. Chairs can be set out at 4 pm.

Where do I park?

Parking is free, but limited on the Garden’s grounds. Parking volunteers will direct you to available spots. Parking volunteers will direct vehicles to neighboring lots safely and as efficiently as possible. There is shuttle golf cart service for those unable to walk to the Garden’s main entrance. Please drive slowly when approaching the Garden and watch for parking signs. Guests with accessibility needs can also be dropped off close to the Garden’s entrance by pulling into the circle driveway.

Is smoking allowed during the Concert?

The Garden is a smoke and vape-free environment, including the parking lot.

Can I bring my pet with me?

Service animals are welcome, but please leave pets and Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) at home. Please let us know you have a service animal when you arrive so we can make our staff aware.

Are weapons allowed at the Garden?

The Garden does not permit the right to carry concealed weapons on the grounds. If the customer refuses to return weapon to vehicle, he or she will be refused admittance to the Garden.
