The entire Garden (buildings and grounds) is temporarily closed from Wednesday, March 25 through 9 am on Friday, April 24 in accordance with Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers' Safer at Home order. All Garden events, classes and programs throughout the rest of March and April have been canceled. See updates below.

Camps at the Garden

Our summer camps are filled with nature-themed games, crafts and unforgettable adventures.

The Garden is excited to offer one day, two day and weeklong camps this summer.  These fun, outdoor camps offer kids a wide variety of activities that utilize the unique landscapes at the Garden in Green Bay. Be ready dig into the dirt and connect with the wonders of the natural world.

Registration required for all camps. Please review the Summer Camp Guidelines and complete the Camp Medical Authorization Form. Scholarships available, please contact us at the information provided below.

Weeklong Camps

Art in Nature

Be inspired to create art by the beauty around you at the Garden! Throughout the week, we’ll practice a variety of artistic techniques, including painting, music and hand crafts, with the help of local art experts. You’ll have many new creations to take home with you and continue your artistic journey! (Note – camp activities are the same in both sessions.)

Living the Life of the Lorax

From The Lorax we will see,
The effects of the trees.
How they clean,
What they make,
Where they grow,
What’s at stake.

Bring the adventures of Dr. Seuss’s book The Lorax to life! You’ll explore the story through games and projects while learning about the effects of pollution and the importance of trees. Plant a Dr. Seuss inspired garden to take home!

Channel your inner scientist as you explore the world of chemistry through materials that can be found in your own home. See regular household items in a new and exciting way!

Butterfly Biologist

Discover the amazing butterflies that live at the Garden and in our butterfly house. Become a butterfly biologist as you observe caterpillars and butterflies and learn why they are so important to the Garden.

KIDchen Cooking

Bridgett Lowery of 416 Cuisine will be back with all new recipes! These one and two day camp options will help campers gain confidence in the kitchen while learning important health and culinary skills. Class is appropriate for children 9 and up, with one and two-day class options available.

Nature day camp specially designed for 3-5 year olds along with their adult buddy.  Loaded with nature themed stories, crafts, hikes and hands-on exploration, each day is a new adventure!

Herbal Adventures

Spend a day indulging your senses! Explore the herb garden as we collect plants to create edible, drinkable and usable herb concoctions. Plant an herb container to take home.
