The Gardeners Club of Green Bay: Tour of Seymour Park Food Forest

Date

Sep 14 2024

Time

10:00 am - 11:30 am

Cost

Free

Location

Frank B. Seymour Park
330 S. Oakland Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54303

The mission of Seymour Park Food Forest is to use public space to provide an area to teach and harvest a wide range of plants. They hope to alleviate some of the burden of food costs in this low-income area and provide nutrient-dense foods. Guests are welcome to attend!

Meet at the parking lot of the park. Josh Kufahl will guide the walking tour of the food forest. A business meeting will be held after the tour—please bring a lawn chair. Dress for the weather—in case of rain, there is a gazebo or pavilion for shelter. There also may be road construction in the area.
