Do you walk or drive through the show?

WPS Garden of Lights is a walk-through show. We encourage guests to dress accordingly with weather-appropriate footwear and clothing. Families who wish to walk the mulched path with small children will need an all-terrain type stroller or pull-along wagon. The walk-through light show is just under a mile (0.85). Limited Wagon Ride tickets are available each night.

What is the Horse-Drawn Wagon Ride?

Wagons seat 20 guests each and have limited availability each night. Guests will walk the upper areas of the light show and head down the hill to the horse-drawn wagon which goes through the lower mulched path of the light show. Ability to climb into the wagon is required for riding. If you require assistance, please bring someone in your party to assist you into the wagon.

Wagons are first come, first served when you arrive during your selected entrance time.

Tickets for the horse-drawn wagon ride include a walking ticket and must be purchased in advance. Walking tickets cannot be upgraded at the door.

How long does it take to see the lights?

As long as you like, but it’s typically 30-45 minutes to walk through the show. The walk is just under a mile (0.85). Horse-drawn wagon rides last about 10-15 minutes. Wagons are first come, first served with tickets purchased in advance when you arrive during your entrance time. We recommend you get down to the wagon pick-up/drop-off area within 30 minutes of your entrance time and no later than 7 pm.

Can I volunteer for the event?

Volunteer and spread some holiday cheer during the light show! Help out in parking, concessions, admissions, and more. More information coming soon!

For more information, contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@gbbg.org or 920.593.5686.

I want to have a holiday party for my company, with friends, or with family. Do you have spaces to rent during the light show?

Yes. We have rooms available to rent for holiday get-togethers with family, friends, or your team.

If you’re looking for something more private for a corporate holiday party, book a private night with exclusive access to the event.

Which nights are less crowded?

Value Nights are typically less crowded, and they usually do not sell-out. Saturdays and dates closer to the holidays historically sell out. We recommend buying your dated and timed tickets well in advance to ensure availability.

Remember, we are closed November 28, and December 24, 25, and 31.

Is the event accessible?

Wheelchair, Stroller, & Pull-Along Wagon Accessibility
The paths in the upper gardens are paved, shoveled, and salted and should be accessible to wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and pull-along wagons. There are no motorized scooters or wheelchairs available at the Garden.

The lower mulched path is difficult to navigate and not recommended for wheelchairs or walkers. Families who wish to walk the mulched path with small children will need an all-terrain type stroller or pull-along wagon.

Accessible Golf Cart Tour
Available Any Event Night

Advance Reservations Required

Wheelchair and motorized scooter users and up to three other guests can receive a golf cart ride around the .4 miles of the lower gardens mulched pathways. Guests will need to purchase an Accessible Golf Cart Ticket in advance. The ticket also includes a half-mile walk through the paved pathways in the upper gardens before or after the golf cart ride.

Purchase your advance tickets no later than 24 hours in advance. Buy online or contact 920.490.9457.

Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides
There are three large steps up into the horse-drawn wagon. Please bring someone to assist you in getting onto the wagon. A ride from the building to the horse-drawn wagons is available for those unable to walk down the paved path where the wagons begin. Ask for assistance at the ticketing counter night-of.

Accessible Parking
Parking is free and available on-site on a first-come, first-served basis. Accessible parking is available inside the Garden’s main parking lot. Show your identification permit to event volunteers to enter the lot.

Can I purchase food and drink on site?

A variety of individually packaged food and beverages are available in our Concessions Building at the WPS Foundation Plaza including: cookies, candy bars, chips, hot chocolate, apple cider, coffee, water, soda, beer, and shots such as Peppermint Schnapps or Baileys to compliment a hot beverage. Please bring ID for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.

No. Only food and drinks purchased on-site are permitted.

Can I purchase souvenirs and do holiday shopping?

Yes. The WPS Trellis Gift Shop will be open every event night from 4:30-8:30 pm. Stop in while you’re here for WPS Garden of Lights or visit us during the week – shop hours are the same as the Garden’s.

Can I bring my pet?

Service animals are welcome, but please leave pets and Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) at home. Let us know you have a service animal when you arrive so we can make our staff aware. View frequently asked questions about service animals and the ADA.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We think a little snow adds to the beauty of the event, but of course, if the weather presents a hazard, the Garden’s decision to cancel the event will be made at 2 pm on the day of the event. You will be notified via email of any cancelation and about the rescheduling process. Also, check our website and Facebook page for updates.

Are there restrooms along the light show?

There are restrooms in the Fischer Visitor Center and halfway through the light show at the Concessions Building featuring the WPS Foundation Plaza.

Can I take photos?
