Garden Reopening Plan

Welcome Back!

The reopening of Green Bay Botanical Garden is an important step in continuing to provide our community a peaceful respite in nature during these times. We appreciate the patience from our members, donors and all visitors as we’ve worked to safely and gradually reopen.

As you’ll see below, with guidance from Wisconsin Department of Health Services and Brown County Health Department, we’ve come up with a phased reopening plan. Our ultimate goal is to connect people and plants while also ensuring a safe environment in the Garden for all of our guests and staff.

Safety Guidelines

Maintain at least a 6 foot distance from other guests and staff at all times.

Face coverings are required in all Garden buildings.

Sanitize your hands at the stations located throughout the Garden.

Admission

Daily Admission

Based on capacity recommendations from the American Public Gardens Association, we will not be limiting the number of guests in the Garden at one time. Per our acreage, we can safely accommodate up to 900 guests per hour with proper physical distancing. The Garden averages 500 guests per day in the summer.

Buy Online & Save!

Buying your ticket(s) online saves you money and time. When you arrive, we’ll simply scan your tickets at the Ticket Cottage and you’ll safely be on your way into the Garden – spending less time waiting with other guests in line. Admission purchased at the door will be an additional $2 per ticket.

Butterflies & Blooms Timed Tickets

All visits to the Butterflies & Blooms exhibit must be reserved by purchasing a timed ticket(s). Members must also reserve their free-visit times.

For your safety and the safety of our staff, the number of visitors in the butterfly house will be limited based on the guidelines from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. To ensure we can provide an enjoyable experience for all guests, reserved visits will be limited to 20 minutes. Your ticket(s) for Butterflies & Blooms includes General Admission to the Garden.
